AGENDA/SESSIONS

The Superior Court of Fulton County hosted the Metro Atlanta Justice Mental Health Symposium at the Atlanta Metropolitan State College. The one and a half day conference brought together stakeholders from the judicial branch, law enforcement community, and city, county and state officials, for training and to facilitate collaborative discussions on ways to improve outcomes for individuals with mental illness in the justice system. The Symposium hosted 200 guests from Athens-Clarke, Bibb, Clayton, Cobb, Dekalb, Douglas, Dougherty, Fulton, and Rockdale counties. By bringing together a multi-faceted group of professionals, the Courtís intent was to have a positive impact on the behavioral health landscape in the criminal and civil justice system. All provided presentations from the symposium will be listed below.
